TOPIC 10: Stewardship, Regulation and Communication

This theme will cover the major global trends towards regulating, stewarding and communicating on the topic of crop protection products.
On regulation, we have a line-up of speakers who will lift the lid on new regulatory paradigms, discuss how global trade can be facilitated through harmonized maximum residue limits, and the role of hazard-based assessments in policy making.
Product stewardship remains an essential element of industry action. Listen to experts who will discuss how new measures can increase public and user confidence in crop protection products with a focus on responsible use training, lifecycle product management and 21st century tools.
Finally, this theme will discuss the vital role of communications to ensure the crop protection industry is not only understood, trusted, but also valued as an important element in our global goal towards sustainable farming and food production.
